First Ever Student Packaging Solution Competition to introduce new Apple packaging solutions in Balochistan

The Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Balochistan University of Information Technology Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Dr. Abdul Rehman Khan, Participated in and appreciated Pakistan’s first ever-student packaging solution competition among Balochistan top-ranked universities and colleges organized by UNIDO under PAFAID funded by JICA in collaboration with Balochistan Food Authority (BFA), World Packaging Organization (WPO), and National Incubation Center (NIC) -Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS). 

The objective of this packaging competition was to unleash the technical, innovative, creative, and entrepreneurial skills of the youth in Balochistan by suggesting Apple packaging solutions in three categories i.e., visual, structural, and save the food.

The students from four leading universities of Balochistan including Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University, BUITEMS, University of Balochistan, and Agriculture College actively participated in the competition and presented their designs in the set categories. The Director -BFA, Mr. Asif Khan inaugurated the final event of the packaging solutions and he praised the efforts made by universities and UNIDO in conducting student packaging competitions. He also appreciated students who took part in this competition and announced the winners of the competition at the end of the ceremony and the Pro-Vice Chancellor distributed certificates among the winners of the competition.
