UNIDO under PAFAID strengthens the capacity of apple value chain actors through a series of training on “New Techniques and Technologies on pre-processing and processing of Apple in Balochistan province”.
The training was attended by apple value chain actors, from five districts of Balochistan province namely: Quetta, Pishin, Ziarat, Killa Abdullah, and Killa Saifullah, including transporters, wholesalers, cold storage owners, representatives of the packaging industry, industry associations, middle man, farmers, seeds and fertilizers distributors, and relevant government staff from the agriculture department. The three training sessions were delivered by IN Consult (Pvt.) Ltd.
The training will contribute in entrepreneurship skills, especially among youth, and will create decent job opportunities in the Balochistan province.
