UNIDO capacitated Farmers from Balochistan with training on Good Agriculture Practices and Basic Hygiene Requirements

A training on Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) and Basic Hygiene Requirements for farmers from Balochistan was organized by UNIDO under The Project for Agri-Food and Agro-industry Development Assistance (PAFAID) funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) from 12 to 13 March 2022. 

Attended by 30 male farmers, this training was held in Union Council KhanozaiDistrict Pishin, Balochistan province. With this activity the attendees have a better understanding of GAP and Basic Hygiene Requirements for apple farms which includes fertilizer storage and application, plant protection, personal protection, pre- and post-harvest management, packaging, transportation, traceability, record keeping and basic GAP tools.
